March 2011 -- Trenergi Presents at New England Sustainable Energy Association Building Energy 2011 held in Boston.  Charles Myers addressed the audience of architects, engineers, distributors and home owners on clean tech residential combined heat and power solutions.  Discussion included how simple combined heat and power systems can be solving residential needs. 

Trenergi Speaks at Fuel Cell Hydrogen Expo

February, 2011 -- Trenergi presented an update of the residential fuel cell combined heat and power market to a packed audience extending out into the hallway.  The market is ready for a reliable cost effective alternative to grid power.  Activities in Korea, Japan, England, Europe and the United States are key indicators of the potential that exists for this market.

Trenergi - Natick Soldier Systems Energy Week Participant

October, 2010 - - Trenergi participated in Natick Soldier Systems for Energy Week.  We provided a display for the main lobby exhibit describing our residential combined heat and power technology and it's energy saving benefits.  The display created by Natick Soldier systems included a wide range of energy saving technologies for both the home and office. 

Trenergi Hosts Massachusetts Legislative Delegation

Mass High Tech Readers Pick Trenergi as a Startup to Watch

August 31, 2010 -- Trenergi Corp has been selected by the readers of Mass High Tech as one of five startup companies to watch.  Mass High Tech published a list of startup companies asking readers to vote which deserved watching.  Trenergi Corp was one of the companies listed by Mass High Tech that readers could vote on.  At the end of the week the top five companies receiving the most reader votes were published in Mass High Tech as startup companies to watch.

Trenergi Completes Cleantech Residential CHP Solution Proof of Concept

June 7, 2010--Trenergi Corp, located at 116 South Street, Hopkinton, MA has successfully completed the proof-of-concept development phase of its Trion^TM residential microCHP product. Trenergi is developing 1KW, 3KW and 5KW versions of the Trion^TM to provide clean, dependable distributed energy solutions for homes in markets throughout the world.

The Trion^TM is being designed to operate on a variety of fuels. The 1KW system successfully operated from a gas mixture simulating natural gas feedstock. Dr. Mohammad Enayetullah, Trenergi’s CTO, stated: “We are pleased that our stack power output exceeded engineering expectations.” 

While the Trion^TM, powered by a high temperature PEM fuel cell, generates electricity, its thermal management system also provides heat for both residential hot water and residential heating systems. Charles Myers, President, noted that Trenergi’s new system “advances the concept that fuel cell-based solutions can offer a cost effective three-energy solution meeting the needs of a global market by providing electricity, heat and hot water from a single package”.
